CSCC Reports 2017:  Windsor Trip - August 2017

Gavin, Grace, Ellie, Angela and I paddled between Windsor and Staines.  This is a pretty stretch of the river with views of the castle.  We had lunch in the sunshine at the Runnymeade water meadow.  The only bad bit was when youths from 'the Staines massive' threw our open boat into the river while Gavin and I were using the train to fetch the cars at the end of the trip.  It was soon recovered, but lesson learned: never leave boats under a bridge!  Thanks to Gavin for organising a splendid day out.
